Use one or the other. Manually edit, or use qmailadmin.
If you confuse qmailadmin with the contents of your dotqmail
files, you may end up with lost information.
Just as an FYI, QmailAdmin 1.2.7 (and later) are much better about not
corrupting your .qmail files. If you have maildrop or other delivery
lines that QmailAdmin doesn't recognize, it won't trash them -- they'll
stay in the file.
That said, there is a limit of 5 forwards on the modify user page. You
can edit the "#define MAX_FORWARD_PER_USER 5" line in qmailadmin.h to
get around that, but there's still a limit of 500 characters (IIRC) on
the overall size of that field.
If you're forwarding to more than 5 accounts, consider using an alias
instead of a POP/IMAP account. Aliases can have an unlimited number of
addresses tied to them.
But, if you're forwarding to more than 20 or so addresses, consider
setting up a mailing list.
