Hello,

I use QmailAdmin 1.2.7

I recently (a month ago) changed the configuration of one of my mailing lists --- we got spam, so I changed it to be a members-only list (all other posts bounce). But now, mail does not seem to be archived like it used to be, even though I have "Archive list messages" and "Index archive for web access via ezmlm-cgi" both checked.

I compared the .qmail-listname files of the broken list and a working list, and found that in the list that works, the second line in the .qmail file is:

   |/usr/bin/ezmlm-store -P /var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/goodlist

Where the broken list has this:

   |/usr/bin/ezmlm-gate /var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist
/var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist
/var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist/allow
/var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist/mod

I understand (mostly) the difference between ezmlm-store and ezmlm-gate, but I can't figure out why the mailing list isn't getting archived. The file /var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist/archived does exist, so as far as I can tell, ezmlm-send SHOULD be archiving it. /var/lib/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/badlist/indexed also exists, so ezmlm-send SHOULD be indexing it, too. But a quick check in ~badlist/archive/threads indicates that nothing has been added to the threads since last month.

Now, doing a little grepping through my archive folder, I can see that it does contain recent messages to my mailing list, so at least they aren't gone to the eternal ether. But... why are they not getting added to the threads/subjects/authors files?

I'm befuddled - any help is appreciated.

~Kyle
