Ken, That is the way that I had created the domains in the first instance.
I tried again to add the domain using the line that you sent (just in case I had missed something) but I have just checked the /var/qmail/users/assign file, and the domain is listed in there, I have redone the cdb update, but I am still getting the error in the apache log.
