I downloaded the most recent version of zlib and spamassassin from the

First error -
spamassassin built just fine with the --with cnt40 configured.
However, it would not install, the error message is as follows:
rpm -Uvh spamassassin-toaster-3.0.4-1.2.5.i386.rpm

Second error -
this was a quick one:
rpmbuild --rebuild zlib-1.2.3-1.0.2.src.rpm
Installing zlib-1.2.3-1.0.2.src.rpm
error: zlib-1.2.3-1.0.2.src.rpm cannot be installed

Thanks,

I thought the spamassassin package was fixed.... Don't worry about that
too much. Go in and delete
/etc/mail/spamassassin/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist and then touch
/etc/mail/spamassassin/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist . Then chown
vpopmail:vchkpw /etc/mail/spamassassin/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist and
lastly chmod the file 700 also. That will fix that issue.
As far as ZLib.... do this:
rpmbuild --rebuild --with cnt40 zlib-1.2.3-1.0.2.src.rpm and see if it
still gives you an error.
