Hi Aledr, CentOS 4.1 is very stable. urpmi has a host of command options and, in some ways, is better than yum. Do a google for urpmi and you will find a bunch of help. As far as distros, I purchased an ASUS-AE3 box for x86_64 testing. Both Fedora Core 3 & 4 x86_64 abort during the install boot process. Mandrakelinux 10.2 x86_64 does not find the ide or sata drive controller and does not all addition of drivers during ftp install. I will download the mandrakelinux 10.2 iso and try that process. CentOS 4.1 x86_64 installed without a hitch and has run perfectly through all the tests . . .
