Greetz All!

I’ll try to be brief.

If I add ‘:primary.mail.server’ to my /var/qmail/control/smtproutes file

and

echo mydomain.com >> /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts

Making sure this domain is not in either file:

/var/qmail/control/locals

/var/qmail/control/virtualdomains

echo 604800 > /var/qmail/control/queuelifetime

Any mail message coming in to my secondary.mail.server addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] is accepted at my secondary server and then forwarded to primary.mail.server, as configured.

However, if my primary server doesn’t have a valid recipient it will reject the mail in the smtp conversation with my secondary server forcing my secondary server to generate a bounce message to the supplied “from” address. That’s all well and good, if everybody is honest with their ‘from’ address. Sadly I receive tons of spam email that is using me as a bounce relay now. How can I make my secondary server verify that the recipient is valid before it accepts the mail and forwards it to the primary?

Any help you feel inclined to give would be much appreciated.

Thanks for an awesome package which is head and shoulders above anything else.
