i found that i am indeed an idiot. sorry to all.
i was wget'ting qmailmrtg-4.2-1.2.10.src.rpm...not grabbing the right
package which was qmailmrtg-toaster-4.2-1.2.10.src.rpm.
my "idioting" was proved when i fired up elinks (i am doing this over
ssh), tripped over to the site, and tabbed to the correct link to the
correct package.
i would like to take the opportunity to thank you and Erik and Jake and
everyone else who has contributed to this awsome project. it allows
admin-wannabes a chance to appear more skilled than perhaps they are ;)
again i apologize for wasting your time and bandwidth.
