Hi Jonathan,
I experienced a similar problem, but my solution may not be
the right thing for you, but just in case, if it is the
same:-
I followed the installation instructions for minimal kde
setup etc given on the website., and failed to install even gcc compiler etc.,
this eventually broke the installation of courier-imap , daemon tools etc., and
the last message which alone we can see because after which the script completes
its execution, it would have been nice, if the current-install script can
automatically detect a failure in middle of installation and stop proceeding
then and there or prompt to proceed further (with failed packages) or stop
installation.
Anyway, check by moving up your terminal if you still have
that one open, you might see some of the packages on which qmail-toaster is
dependant might also have failed to install.
In my case it was because most of the common packages was
not installed, like as said earlier - gcc, automake/make etc., once that is
sorted, I did made sure each and every package is installed in the order given
in the current-download script and then simscan also got
installed.
Might worth a try, who know you might be having the same
issue as mine....
Hope this helps.
Nanda.
