If MySQL is already installed, change the password in the mysql-setup.sh script to the current root password. Check with other user/admins of the system to obtain it, otherwise resetting it could cause problems with current setups.

Is this an existing install you are trying to put qmailtoaster on top
of? MySQL apparently wants to see root with a password, or perhaps
another user that already has rights to grant permissions that is
already established. The default MySQL install is user root with no
password, which I believe is what the install script assumes.
