Hi,
Yes, you can install daemontools-toaster, ucspi-tcp-toaster, and djbdns as
a dns server solution.
These rpms are built to djb's spec and should work anywhere.
daemontool-toaster and ucspi-tcp-toaster should build on any distro
without a switch since they default to RedHat 9. Pretty generic.

Nick
Nick,
Can I use the Daemontools, ucspi, and DJBdns rpms seprate on another
box. I was wanting to run dns on another server. Also are the pakages
of these three custom to QMT or are they straight package of the source
with a toaster name. I currently have script that installs all from
source and builds the Djbdns server and vegadns by prompts. These Rpms
could save me time.
Thanks for all you all do,

Im very unhappy with the new Toaster Build im not willing to replace
Bind with Djbdns.
So don't. My understanding is that you can run either bind or DjbDNS.
You can still continue to run Bind.
Hi,
You need to have either a local dns server or a caching name server. You
can use eithe bind or djbdns. It is not necessary to use djbdns, it's
your
choice.
What else are you unhappy about?

Nick
