I'm having some issues where a client of mine is unable to send an enclosure that's a ppt file.

In the older version of qmailtoaster (2004 vintage) what's the location to remove this restriction - and is it possible to do so on a domain basis (i.e. only have that client changed)?

In that version, the signature will be block via badmimetypes or badloadertypes. The signatures in badmimetypes have to match the first few characters in the MIME type (attachment). badloadertypes is the one that is a pain. The signatures in here can match ANY portion of the MIME (attachment) type. I'd comment all of these out, and then try sending the PPT again. Chances are good it was blocked in this file. Otherwise, comment out all of signatures in both files, and then run (you'll have to do this anytime you change these files) /var/qmail/bin/qmail-badmimetypes and qmail-badloadertypes. Then have them send the message, and have them send you a copy. When you look at the message source (CTRL-U in Thunderbird), look at the first few chars in the MIME type at the bottom of the message and see what it matches in badmimetypes. Uncomment the ones you had commented out, and run the qmail-badmiemtypes file again.
