Para los hispanoparlantes. Al parecer en general la lista no le agrada que se use otro idioma diferente al inglés. Si no sabes inglés entonces puedes poner tu texto en español pero también su traducción usando:

http://translate.google.com

Lista es correcto la solución anterior?

Translation:
To spansih speakers. It seems that in general the list dislikes posts with a languaje different from english. If you don't know english then you can type your text in spanish but also have to put a translation using:

http://translate.google.com

List is this an adequate solution?

Seems like a pretty close tie between people who want two and people
who want just one single list.

I think a compromise would be two-fold:

- one, making sure that those who respond to spanish-language posts
mention, first, that the list prefers English, and that it's kinda rude
to just jump in there in Spanish, ignoring the majority of participants,
and pretending it's a Spanish list. This may not be the intention, but
that's the impression I get (I see very little "sorry for not posting in
Eglish").

- two, that the respondents kinda translate the gist of the request into
English, and respond with an English translation, to allow the English
speakers to benefit and participate as well.

I like these ideas. I think it'd be nice if spanish posters were to create
an English translation at http://translate.google.com. Sometimes that's
inadequate, but for simpler problems it works ok.

The only benefit I see to a Spanish list is that I worry of a repeat of
other communities - whereas somehow, now that Spanish speakers seem to
have found out about the list, start to grow in numbers, until it's a
nearly Spanish list. This may be an irrational concern, but I've seen it
happen before, sporadically (in other languages), and it may be good to
be pro-active.

Just my $0.02.
