To every email address. Don't know why, if I use the default VCHKPW it runs ok. But when I put /bin/false, it gives that error.

I tried what you said. The result is not good. The client who did not set smtp authentication get the following message... "sorry the domain in not on my rcpthost list -- error chkusr:554" (or something like that) so i revert back to VCHKPW="/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw" On 11/23/06, David Sánchez Martín <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: Maybe he doesn't need SMTPAUTH nor RELAYCLIENT, at least at por 25 (think of of someone that completely implemented submission (587) port for his users). But I can assure. I hope that they're on a trusted network. If so, you can add an entry specifying said network to the /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp file which sets the RELAYCLIENT variable for that network, similar to the 127. entry you'll find there. Then do # qmailctl cdb to rebuild the tcp.smtp.cdb file which will activate your change. Note, be very careful not to use the RELAYCLIENT variable for untrusted or external (open) networks, as you will be configuring an open relay (a very bad thing to do). As a general rule, RELAYCLIENT should only be used for private (class A,B,C, not publicly routable) IP addresses. -- -Eric 'shubes' --------------------------------------------------------------------- QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted <http://www.vr.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted <http://www.vr.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
