All of the documentation I have read on the subject says that not only
is doing that more complicated than just simply running yum a few times
(there are a few other steps), but that doing it is not reliable, and
that the only stable way of upgrading from RHEL/CentOS 3 to 4 is to
backup your data, and do a clean re-install.
