What is the proper way to disable and uninstall simscan and clamav. I
tried to do this just after my upgrade to the current version (about 3
weeks ago), but mail stopped processing altogether.
I've got it partially disabled right now, via the
'/var/qmail/control/simcontrol' file, but I'd rather just remove it
altogether.
Also, what functionality does authdaemond provide? I routinely have
to restart MySQL, after finding that authdaemond is taking more than
it's fair share of db handles. What is the impact of uninstalling that
part of the package? What is the proper procedure for doing so?
