This Smtp gateway seems a little too large for me right now,but interesting. I just looked at the last mailq and it only took 12hrs for 5100msgs to complete. I have seen when the customer sent out 7000 and it took over 24hrs. Doesnt seem too long a time for that many but I think my server is capable of much more. Since Im a noob to qmail I am just now getting comfortable with it. There is a setting to change in the conf-split to change the number of hashed subdirectories to something larger to speed up the process a little. Of course concurrency would play an important part here to I think. Thanks
