qtp-newmodel scripts in versions 1.3.5 thru 1.3.8 of QTP default to using 'spambox 1' for the qmailadmin-toaster package. This is no longer the case. qtp-newmodel by default now uses whatever settings are in the source packages.
Beginning with this release, you may tailor packages individually by specifying rpmbuild options in appropriate files in the /opt/qmailtoaster-plus/etc/rpmbuild directory. And FWIW, global rpmbuild options can be set in the qtp-config script.
