Not sure that it is a good solution for ISP (due to flexibility
issues), but for home use - yes, this is relatively good solution.
Still, I can't admit that it is 'reliable', as I used to manage HA
cluster where the term 'reliability' stands for slightly different
meaning ;-).

P.S. Have to say that I use dyndns free services myself for my home
PC, connected over ADSL line with dynamic IP.
