At the moment Qmailadmin produces this kind of format in the db:

So I guess this is the newest format and it works ok with spambox.

dotqmail2valias must have been guilty for producing the format that
does not work with spambox:

 /home/vpopmail/domains/example.com/username/Maildir/

Though I did not test this as I don't remember what the format of the
.qmail forward files were
before transferring them to db.
Ahh. Did not realize you cam from an older version. I believe the dotqmail2valias was slapped together to get the old style converted to the new, and things have changed since then as well. Always changing, right? I remember having to code all this into a qmail-scanner script....
