I can't say about smtp.com with certainty, but I doubt that it'd be really
necessary if your configuration is complete. This is not just the toaster,
but all DNS related stuff as well.

To improve delivery from your toaster, here's a quick checklist off the top
of my head:
.) proper RDNS
.) proper SPF
.) proper DK signature

Check the list archives for additional thoughts. There have been some
conversations recently about delivery to difficult receivers, yahoo in
particular.
