Hi Biju,
Thanks for the nice solution. It works fine. I am sending the
exact steps what i did and what i got. I installed qmail-notify in
/usr/share/toaster/.
Exact commands executed
1. cd /usr/share/toaster/
2. wget http://untroubled.org/qmail-notify/qmail-notify-0.93.tar.gz
3. tar -zxvf qmail-notify-0.93.tar.gz
4. cd qmail-notify-0.93
5. make
6. "./installer"
7. vi /etc/cron.hourly/qmailnotify.sh
( Create a new hourly cron through vi)
8. press 'i' to insert and type as follows. Its telling that the
warning time is 30 seconds(for testing)
qmail-notify -t 30
9. Press 'Esc' then ':wq' to save and execute.
10. Sent a mail from QMT for testing (Using my webmail interface) .
11. qmailctl queue
(to check the mail is in queue)
12 . ./qmailnotify.sh
(Execute the qmail notify)
13. In my inbox, i got a mail as follows,
Subject: delayed delivery notice

14. Now edit the /etc/cron.hourly/qmailnotify.sh file to change the 30
seconds to 10800 ( 3 Hours)
