You probably also need to remove them from the /var/qmail/users/assign
file as well.
IMHO, it would be easier to compile a list of the users and passwords
and use a script to add them all in when you're ready. Using a script
I've added 28 domains and 537 email accounts in about 5 seconds.
Using another script I copied their messages into their folders.
This was a migration for a client from another qmail server
(hand-compiled) to a QMT system I manage for them.
