I have recently install QmailToaster-Plus to my system and have been running
some of the applications.
What are some experiences users have had with qtp-extraclam? I ran it the
otherday and it seems to have radically reduced the number of emails I get
in my spam folder. Has anyone else seen this response?
qtp-sa-update did not seem to work correctly. Maybe I am wrong since I
installed qtp-extraclam not to far before. I installed it but I do not have
and have never had the rules_du_jour that the beginning of the scrip tries
to remove. I am assuming that it is doing something. Is what I see the
norm?
After running both of the above mentioned scripts, I see a significan
smaller number of overall emails in my spam folder (I am assuming that is
the qtp-extraclam since the emails are being tossed and not being put into
the spam folder). I was scared initially because of such a drop in emails
being delivered, but I have not heard anything from my customers or from
people that I know indicating that mail is not being delivered to mailboxes
on my machine.
I really need to take a look at what these scripts are doing so that I am
more comfortable with the system. I have had so many problems in the past
with false positives and/or lack of filtering that I am very paranoid about
something working. I still have not setup spamdyke or rbls. Are most users
using the default setup of the server or are users using tools available
like qtp (all the tools it includes), razor, pyzor, dcc, etc?
