Understood. Is there any reason one would create domains or users with qmailadmin?

With qmailadmin? You can create users and it works correctly to do so. It's how most of my users manage their domains. You just need to use the CLI to create the domains initially (or QControl) and then you can use qmailadmin to manage the domain from that point on.
