Hi Eric,

to add to what dani query i have had problems in taming Spamdyke.....
spam dyke and just started blocking good domains too.....

The only "good domains" that I've seen spamdyke block are ones who don't have rDNS configured correctly. In these cases, I make an attempt to let the IT people responsible for the domain know that their server is misconfigured. While waiting for them to fix their configuration, I whitelist the domain with a
@domain.com
record in the /etc/spamdyke/whitelist_senders file. This allows all mail from that domain to pass.

It's also possible that an RBL that you're using is blocking a legitimate site. The spamdyke log message will tell you the reason for the rejection. Just search on the sender's address:
# qmlog -lc sen...@domain.com smtp

hmmmm spam dyke learns about spam from each user mail and then implements
it  over the domain....

The only thing spam "learns about" pertains to graylisting. If you don't like graylisting, turn it off. It can be controlled by account and by domain. It's a little tricky, but not too difficult. See spamdyke documentation.

how can use spam dyke with myself defining... what to block and what not
to block..

Everything in spamdyke is controlled by the /etc/spamdyke/ configuration files. When you find something that spamdyke doesn't handle the way you'd like, you typically use the whitelist* and blacklist* files to override spamdyke's configuration.

please help.....

Mahesh
