Seeing the traffic recently about uninstalling postfix and dovecot and making sure UID 89 is available brings up a question I have had.
What it so special about UID 89? Is it something more than just most of the mail systems have a common heritage and someone in the early years picked a random ID that stuck? Just curious... Phil
