I have an x64 system running on the new kernel. It is a vmware guest. I ran into the fuse error problem as well. I actually ran into this problem on the test x64 machine and a x86 production machine. Both seemed to resolve themselves with a reboot.

I've no idea what ddf1_Main is. It wouldn't need to be mounted, as grub does its thing well before mounting takes place.
