This isn't something that's easily done. You need to learn what the
tools (spamdyke, spamassassin) are can do first. Then examine particular
spams to see the characteristics, then apply an appropriate tool to the
specific situation. spamdyke alone should catch 90+% of the spam when
properly configured (the stock configuration that qtp-install-spamdyke
creates should be pretty close). There will always be a few that get
through though.
Another thing i want to ask you, Am hosting my mail server in one
location and our most of users accessing email in another location, some
times mail receiving and sending it's very slow. If possible i can
install another server in another location using fetchmail.
but if i use fetchmail i need to store all the emails in both server.
Can you please guide me how to install and configure fetchmail in
another location.
Why not put your mail server at the location where most of your users are?
And one more query. whenever i want to check the password need to use
below command
only vuserinfo [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> <mailto:[email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>>. If possible to
see all users username and password to see in one text file.
No single command I'm aware of, but a little scripting could do it for you.
Please be aware that storing passwords in clear text (as QMT presently
does) is considered a bad practice, and will be discontinued in a future
QMT release. There will be no method of finding user passwords after
this happens. As is done with Linux users, passwords will be able to be
reset, but not retrieved.
