While having everything on one host can be nice in some situations, having separate hosts to fulfill specific roles has its advantages as well. I hope to evolve QMT such that both ways can be easily implemented. This will be done defining role-based, autonomous pieces of QMT. These pieces will be able to be implemented individually, or combined in any way that an administrator sees fit.
If you're interested in such developments, be sure to join us on the development list, and stay tuned there. I hope to have more time in the near future to move QMT forward in this direction. CentOS 6 support will be coming first though.
