Hello,

please see two attached txt files.

one was me trying to update using qtp-newmodel. The other was trying to do it manually with rpm.

qtp-newmodel fails because it can't load dependencies. there are 3 with no packages available:

No package compat-libf2c available.
No package compat-libgcc available.
No package compat-libsdc++-33 available.

and the other failure is trying to update php. this server is a COS 5.9 box where I had manually installed and upgraded to php5.3 (since the repos only give you php). i had done this to run some others tools that required it and it didn't seem to adversely affect any other QMT packages. the QMT package dependencies rely on php. so it fails given the need for a downgrade.

when i try using rpm manually, it gives the errors seen in the txt file. and then nothing happens after that and clamav remains NOT updated.

can Mr. Shubes or anyone else offer me any suggestions? Thanks guys for your help in advance.
