Have you looked at them?
I've only seen spam or backscatter get stranded like that.
Which queue are they in?

Eric,
It passed more than 24 hrs, but some mails are still in queue, and these

Team,

In my mailing queue, there are some mails stuck. Lots of mails are come
to queue and release, but some are still there even after one day.

I used qmailctl doqueue.

After that queue_repair.py -r, it gives,,

    queue/mess/7/18220308 ownership 7794:89, should be qmailq:qmail

    fixed, queue/mess/7/18220308 ownership 7794:2108

I checked the ownership for queue/mess/7/18220308, and it is same
qmailq:qmail

What are the dates on the files that are stuck? I think you can safely
remove any files in the /var/qmail/queue/ tree that are more than a few
days old.
