Can it be the quota on the accounts that has reached the limit ?

In the last day or so imap has displayed oddities on some accounts.
1. Moving emails from one folder to another simply disappear.
2. IMAP sync is no longer working. POP accounts are working normally.
The disks are not full (47% Free), it is not overloaded and load average
is well under 1.
Has anyone any ideas why this may be happening? I have restarted each
process and
even the server.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
