What's about:
* QxLocaleManager: Matching the qooxdoo naming scheme for (singleton)
instances which manage other objects
* QxLocale: The class which will be managed by the above locale manager.
Can be assosiated with a remote version of QxStringBundle which will be
loaded dynamically on a interface language switch.
* QxStringBundle: A system which registers key (gettext like id) and
value = language value. You can register multiple string bundles, each
representing one language, to the locale manager.
Just some first ideas how we could handle this in qooxdoo.
Some nice thing would also be: A system which safely detects the users
system language and country.

Sebastian

To be able to localize the qooxdoo application, I have contributed to
classes:
QxLocale - keeps the information about available locales and the current
locale chosen.
QxResource - is the class loading the actual resource strings for
different languages.
I would like to, not implemented yet, to use QxGetResponse to get the
strings from different XML files from the server. I do not really
understand what the status is of the AJAX implementation.
Sebastian, can you give me an example how it works and how you want it
to work?
I attach the classes for review.
