Hi,
I would like that in addition to the existing units, as documented in
http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/user/layout_basics, there would be also
character units.
For example, for a QxTextField, it is more meaningful to specify the
width expressed in the number of characters it can show at once, instead
of pixels..
For a QxTextArea, it is more meaningful to specify the height expressed
in the number of lines that must be shown, instead of pixels.
The real number of pixels depend on the font size.
CSS already has the 'em' and 'ex' units, but they aren't easy to work
with as it could.
Don't you agree?
Is this easy to implement?
