Hi! I have just detected that new documents in our wiki are sometimes not created in the style I have mentioned some weeks ago.
Generally it's a good idea to name the page like the title. Spaces are allowed in dokuwiki links. For example: * [[documentation:howto:whatisqooxdoo|What is qooxdoo?]] resulting in: http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/howto/whatisqooxdoo would be better as: * [[documentation:howto:What is qooxdoo?]] resulting in: http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/howto/what_is_qooxdoo The name of the page is then "What is qooxdoo?". The link is also nicer. "what_is_qooxdoo" is definitely better readable than "whatisqooxdoo". Sometimes it's better to shorten the name of the page a bit compared to real the page title. Please decide this yourself from case to case. If you don't define a page title inside the link, dokuwiki will use the title text from the first header of the page source. So the most time it's a good idea, to not define a separate title inside each link. It's always a good idea to have a H1 title on each page. Otherwise the breadcrumb wouldn't work and the links get no title text from the page. Because of some caching of dokuwiki the title inside the link is sometimes not up-to-date to the page title. The title will be updated with the next change of the page where the link resists. I would suggest to change this ASAP and create new pages in the new scheme. 1. Copy the wiki content of the page into your clipboard 2. Add the new link (keep the old one) and fill the new page with the content in your clipboard 3. Follow the old link, edit the page and delete the complete content. 4. Delete the old link from the overview page. Thank you for all your work.
