I would propose that a release this quickly after such massive changes have
been made is unwise.  Most people have been holding off on even testing it.  A
delay of a number of weeks would be a "good thing" although when the
inevitable bugs come up, hopefully you guys will have time to fix the things
that the rest of us aren't yet qualified to do.

Also, there seems to be a general consensus that the recent singleton changes
should be reverted.  (All responses agreed, I think.)  That issue should be
addressed prior to a release, I believe.
I hope Sebastian or somebody else who made the singleton changes can explain why they made those changes.

Maybe there are reasons for this changes which are valuable for all of us.

Sebastian? Andreas? Any comments?

The first goal should be to have the interface stable to allow users to do their own development based on the qooxdoo class hierarchie without having to adapt their own classes from revision to revision.

My credo is: release quick, realease often! Because we need qooxdoo now and not sometimes in the future.
