[qooxdoo-devel] Stupid question about events

This will be an easy one for most of you to answer but I am a bit brain dead right now. I have some code that I posted to the "click" event of a button. I would like to call that code, or issue a click of the button, from another part of the program. I have tried to simply call the click() method of the button but that didn't work. What simple little thing am I overlooking?
