Maybe someone would do something like this for qooxdoo, too. It just need to be an web interface of generator.py. Volunteers? ;)

Cheers,

Sebastian

Hey Mark,

Have you tried it on Opera or Safari at all?

What do you mean? If there is a simpler way of implementing this I'd
be interested. Opera also supports attachEvent doesn't it?

OK, you've just made me pissed off. WTF is Opera doing supporting
attachEvent? Sigh.

The conditional comment issue is specific to Dojo builds, and nothing you
did at all; the issue is that the Dojo build system strips out all comments
(including conditional ones), so your solution won't fire for a built
version of Dojo running in IE.

What fun.

/me goes to do some research on Opera, while seriously hating Opera's
documentation, or lack thereof.

Turns out that it didn't matter, the switch put in the init function that
prevented it from firing more than once took care of Opera. But it was
ugly, so I sniffed directly for IE/Win again as opposed to using
document.attachEvent.

Don't blame me. I've never even been to Norway! :-)

I have this problem too. I have to change my compressor to allow
conditional comments. :-(

jQuery also has this feature.

Ouch... that kinda bites... but the UI looks simple and clean, maybe a
learning experience?
