Hi Antony,

Sigh.  Which type of authentication is used should not be browser-specific, it
should be server-specific, and it's not the browser's business to be imposing
such limitations.  This looks like yet another MS brain fart.

Your patch looks reasonable.  I'm not currently set up to be able to test it.
Have you tested this patch?  Against what servers have you tested?
