I follow exactly the same approach. I have a FormManager class with three methods:
*. Bind. Register a set of "form" widgets in the FormManager.
*. Fill. Fill the values of the widgets with an AJAX response.
*. Clear. Remove all values from the widgets registered.
I agree with you, this save me a lot of time and redundant code.
