Hi dperez,

Treefullcontrol is flexible, but it resizes the window(if it is in one) with it. And i want the tree to be flexible(vertical) but only within the window, so that you can resize the window and the tree will go with. The Problem is: even if the window has absolute width und height, it is always resized by the tree content. You can add an extra verticalboxlayout between tree and window and give this box absolute dimensions, but than the tree doesn't resize itself with the window. That's bloody vicious circle...

Cheers,
alex.d
No, the tree layout supports any size.
Place the TreeFullControl inside a VerticalBoxLaout and use flex units:

myTree.setHeight('1*');

Alex, I believe this is a commonly-discussed deficiency in the currently
layout
system. The tree widgets (and, I believe, many others) must have their
size
fixed.

You should be able to catch an event on the window ("ONAPPEAR"?) and
resize
the tree based on the size of the window. I haven't yet tried this, but I
expect to be working with it some time soon.
