I'v tried your test. The problem is there. Here is the content of the debug area:

qx.core.Init[3]
000406: qooxdoo 0.7-pre (r5009)
000422: loaded 278 classes
000422: client: mshtml-7.0/win/de
qx.component.init.InterfaceInitComponent[29]
000422: initialize runtime: 0ms
000484: main runtime: 62ms
000484: preloading visible images...
000484: preloading complete
000484: finalize runtime: 0ms
qx.io.remote.Request[44]
000640: Could not dispatch event of type "completed": Error - It is an error to mix objects from different versions of MSXML.
(#-2147467259)
qx.component.init.InterfaceInitComponent[29]
006172: preloading hidden images...
006172: preloading complete

The difference may be that your windows installation does not have msxml6 installed so that qx.xml.Core.createXmlDom() creates a msxml3 activex object which should be compatible to the native xmlhttp.

Hello Dietrich,
I'm currently testing my application against IE7. I'm using XMLHttpRequest (via RemoteRequest) and doing sometimes manipulations of the received XML document.

In some scenarios I need to create a xml document and copy nodes from one document to the other, in this case from a xmlhttp received xml document to a document created by qx.xml.Core.createXmlDom.

I was unable to reproduce your problem. The attached test did work for me. Could you try it and report if it is working for you as well.

Best,
Fabian
