I'm looking for an accordian component to use within a qooxdoo system.
By accordian I'm referring to a user interface widget similar to a
tabbed folder (showing only one content div at a time), but where the
handles are vertically aligned and extend the width of the component. In
particular, I'm looking for one with the following features:
- the accordian can be dynamically configured so that segments
(a tab/body pair) can be added/deleted as needed
- the title for each segment can be arbitrary; for example, a text
label plus a very small table (in 6pt font) and a close button
- the title for the active segment can be dynamically replaced,
especially with widgets, such as a list box - this may cause the
vertical size to increase slightly
- the segment body can be updated/replaced dynamically
- the accodian resizes well vertically (if the browser
window is increased/descreased in size)
- the accordian resizes well horiziontally (if a splitter is used),
ideally, with a minimum size so it truncates title/body after a
particular width
Since we could use this quite soon, I'd be very happy to issue a bounty
on this; payable to the implementer when it meets the implementation,
testing, and documentation standards needed for it to be included in the
trunk of the project. I'd be happy splitting the reward over multiple
people -- so a bit of collusion is welcome.
