I use Java+XSLT+Cocoon, but qooxdoo is neutral to the server technology, it is just a client one.
I have a XML spec for my forms and convert it to JSON. A fixed custom Javascript file interprets this JSON data. This script uses qooxdoo. Many other approaches are possible. JSON is a good choice, because javascript engines read it directly.
