It's very possible that I went into more detail than you were asking
for, so if so sorry, but it may help other people on the list in
future.
If you only wanted to check in Perl whether https was used, have a
look in JSONRPC.pm as there is a line
my $is_https = $cgi->https ? 1 : 0;
What I'm thinking of doing is making $cgi and $session global in
jsonrpc.pl so that they are available to methods.
