Hi Fabio, As I read more through LGPL and EPL I get more and more confused about the point if it is possible to sell a product which uses qooxdoo. Especially the fact that the build system does something like compiling and linking and the question if the result is program or a library and the fact that making this "thing" available via browser (do we distribute the library?) seems to be very interpretative by the reader (and more threatening: by the lawers).
And what does the dual licensing mean? If LGPL is more restrictive than EPL in some points what restriction gets precedence? The EPL FAQ has one question which seems to cover my needs for a commercial product based on qooxdoo: http://www.eclipse.org/legal/eplfaq.php#PROPPROD ----- start cite ----- 17. When I incorporate a portion of a Program licensed under the EPL into my own proprietary product distributed in object code form, can I use a single license for the full product, in other words, covering the portion of the Program plus my own code? Yes.
