I've found a trac ticket at www.aptana.com which is targeted for qooxdo
style support in JS editing.
I submitted a comment to this ticket which points to the new qooxdoo OO
notation in version 0.7:

- qooxdoo 0.6.6 is supposed to be the most stable version so far. It is
recommended for production use and all applications should be migrated
to this release.
- qooxdoo 0.7-alpha1 is a first alpha release meant for testing, not for
production. It contains a complete implementation of the most
significant OO features: new class declaration, interfaces and mixins.
It does not yet contain the new dynamic properties (a successor of
qx.OO.addProperty()), which will be included in a future alpha release.
The roadmap at http://qooxdoo.org/about/roadmap has been updated last
week to reflect the current state of development and the next steps
towards the ultimate goal of a reworked layout engine.
Given the current progress, it is planned to put those releases online
tomorrow, Tuesday March 6. If there is any input to be made,
particularly for 0.6.6, please let us know immediately. Its current
state is available in SVN under branches/legacy_0_6_x, or you can simply
point your browser to http://demo.qooxdoo.org/0.6.6-rc1/ for the online
demos.
For the first alpha of 0.7 ("the new OO features only, still far away
from a final release") see http://demo.qooxdoo.org/0.7-alpha1/ .
