Thomas, are you going to work on http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333 ? I've dug into the tokeniser now and have a bit of a handle on how to approach it, but haven't looked in detail. I should have picked up on that typo in 331 - but your fix isn't sufficient. I'll put together some test cases and post them in the bug. What I see now is that indents exceed dedents - so in the test file I'm using, the closing } is at the 10th indent level.
