Getting the default locale is a bit tricky. Since all of our demos do 
not have a server backend they need to get the locale information using 
JavaScript. Unfortunately the browsers do not return the configured 
locale, but the locale the browser uses for it's own interface. The user 
configured locale is only available through the HTTP headers the browser 
sends.
