Christian, I did an update and things are in fact working correctly.

I tried copying the skeleton, made no change other than adding the path to
qooxdoo in the Makefile, issued "make source" and then was able to view the
application.  I'd suggest starting with just that, i.e. begin again with a
copy of skeleton and change only the Makefile to ensure that you can get
something working.

Also, you might try, in the qooxdoo sdk's frontend directory, issuing "make
distclean" and then try your "make source" in your project directory again.
It's possible there's some cruft there for some reason that needs cleaning
out.

You indicated that you got skeleton from svn.  Are you using the latest
framework from svn?
